Identify X ?

X is a decorated footballer who has scored in the each of the last four decades. He is the all time leading goal scorer for his country

Despite his stellar achievements on the field, he is quite famous for his brash and outspoken comments off the field

He is the only player to have scored in the UEFA Champions League with six different teams but not won the title once

He also happens to be the only player to score on his Premier League, Serie A, La Liga, Ligue 1 and UEFA Champions League debut

A statue of this player (X) was erected in his hometown which was removed from its plinth after multiple cases of vandalism
